The statute is “liberally construed” by Ohio Courts as a way to encourage lawsuits from consumers “who in any other case might not be in the position to afford to pay for or justify the expense of prosecuting an alleged CSPA violation, which, subsequently, performs to discourage CSPA violations to begin with by way of the specter of liability
